A former builder who contracted an asbestos-related cancer has been told his insurance company are refusing to pay £50000 awarded to him by a high court judge. The company is appealing against the court decision -- a process which could take longer to resolve than Dave Mahoney has left to live. That's despite the fact he hopes to use the cash to pay for life-extending treatment.
